Energy Ministry asks government to ban gasoline exports fast

MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- The Russian Energy Ministry has suggested the government accelerate gasoline export prohibition, the authority said in a statement on July 30.

"The Energy Ministry of Russia addressed the government of the Russian Federation asking it to issue an accelerated order launching the procedure of gasoline exports prohibition," the ministry said.

Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said on July 28 that the Ministry would analyze gasoline exchange trade later last week to decide whether it should ban the exports. He also said that the exports would be banned for three months at least.
